Footnotes in Notes

I make a note file on a passage and in this note I have copied snippits from a number of different commentaries. Currently if I have 5 or 6 snippits from each of several commentaries, Logos places a footnote with the source under each and every occurrence. Is it possible to eliminate the footnotes or have the footnotes placed at the bottom of the note?

On the right of the main toolbar, click on the kebab
In the menu, select Program settings
In General options set Copy Citations to no.
