I need to set up a search for a Hebrew word where I can see all of its uses in its lexical form as well as in it's inflected form. Specifically, I want to see how many times it is used each way. Can anyone help with that? Thank You!
Hi Jeff and welcome!!
Depending on your base package and the resources you have here are 3 ways of viewing the various inflected forms of a Hebrew lemma. If you are working from a Hebrew text, you can select the word and right mouse click for the context menu. Select the lemma and then:
There are probably other ways to get these results, but these are what I use. Get to know the right mouse menu from a biblical text as it is a gateway to a wealth of information.
I am unable to provide screenshots right now, but someone else may be able to if that will help.
This isn't an answer, but a reminder to others about the Lexham Hebrew Analytic Lexicon. It quickly shows the frequency of lexical forms (along with senses, LXX alignments, and even cognates).
My highest priority Hebrew lexicon. Double click on a Hebrew word and it opens.
