New Faithlife Feedback Boards

As Phil implied, this new feedback site is hosted by a third party: FeedBear.
If you have problems with the experience of using the feedback site itself, or would like its features to be improved, you can file those directly with FeedBear: https://feedback.feedbear.com/
I did that also.
Thanks

It was called "Logos Resource Improvements," but that was too long. I'll switch it back once the feedback software fixes the bug that causes long board names to wrap.
Thanks Phil, that makes things clearer.
I got hung up on the word bug as has been used recently in the forums, so I was mislead by my fleshly understanding[:D]

I for one had requested both a place for resource errors and for data errors so that they didn't clutter the forums. I haven't looked at what is in them at this point but I suspect this is the Faithlife response to our request to avoid KYLE: and DATA BUG: posts.
Maybe a separate page on the new forums software coming [;)], called "Bug report" would help and be easier to monitor.

Good suggestion. I went with Updates, which just barely fits.
Ooops! Still wrapped

So we have to create a new account to vote? Any chance a sign in with Faithlife option might appear in the future?

Not for me. You might need to refresh.

From my initial post:
Phil Gons (Faithlife) said:We may be able to integrate with your Faithlife account in the future, but for now you’ll need to sign in with a social account (Google, Facebook, or Twitter) or create a new FeedBear account.

My apologies... I missed the original post but should have gone back and read it

Which sub-board should feedback related to ebooks.faithlife.com and general.ebooks.faithlife.com go on? Given that they're stores rather than a social network, I'm not sure whether relevant feedback should go into the "Faithlife.com" sub-board or the "Logos.com Website" one. (My assumption is that Verbum.com feedback is quietly intended for the latter.)

Our ecommerce stores all use the same backend code, so https://feedback.faithlife.com/boards/logos-com-website is going to be a better place than the Faithlife.com board (despite the domain name).
And don't worry, it's easy for us to move cards if it's not in the "right" place.

Thanks for confirming! There will be feedback coming soon.

I posted a question about Monday's announcement in what I guessed was the appropriate place and got a very quick appropriate response. It appears to be working.[:)]

Very well done! Things like this do well at reminding us all how much Faithlife values our opinions and needs as users!

I'm not very clear (savvy) on when/how to use the various forums/feedback "sites" now. The new "Faithlife Feedback Boards" sound like a good idea based upon the comments above. I'm probably one of those people who frustrate others because I'm never sure where I should be posting questions, comments, bugs, etc. I could well be posting them in the wrong spot that makes it more difficult to get feedback.
I find the forums very useful because I almost always learn something new when I peruse them.
It would be most helpful to me if, when the changeover is made to Faithlife Feedback Boards, there is a "guide" or summary on what should be posted where, or where one should look for various things such as tips, comments, discussion, bugs and other categories. AND ALSO what ID should be used to access them. It looks like I might need to set up a Feedbear account? I'm not on social media (facebook, twitter, etc.) so I guess that's why I am not able to access the Faithlife groups (and it looks like there are probably great comments/discussions there too).
There are probably others out there like me that are just a little confused on how this all works together. A summary or guide on how to navigate all this would make a great product even better because we could "be equipped for every good work" as St. Paul says.

They already exist, but they don't replace the forums. They replaced the old UserVoices, which most people never used.

I will make one right now:
- Go to https://feedback.faithlife.com/
- Take your best guess and click on it.
- Read the short description on the left side and see if your guess still seems plausible.
- Don't worry too much about adding your suggestion/bug report in the wrong spot because Faithlife staff can easily move it.

Any email address of your choosing, given that you don't use other relevant social media. You'll need to set up an account at https://feedback.faithlife.com/ and set up a password.

Nope. The same account that you use to access these Faithlife Forums also works on www.faithlife.com. You might have to log in again, though, depending. Or not. Don't worry either way.

I hope this post helps a little. [:)]

Currently new feedback website needs a separate login so please vote => Add the feedback website to the Faithlife SSO system that has 14 votes.
FYI: my demonstration Faithlife account (order total of $ 0.00) has a free Google email, which allows "G" login for new feedback.

Hello.
I tried signing into this with my Faithlife Account sign in. It won't work. I don't know what I am doing wrong. Is there another way to sign in using my Logos/Faithlife email and password?

Well that leaves me out. I will sign up for a social media account when it snows in Death Valley in the middle of August, or when pigs fly, whatever you prefer.

Lonnie, your response ignores this phrase. I assume you took it into account.

Not yet plus would recommend against using Faithlife email and password for new Faithlife feedback until Single Sign-On (SSO) has been implemented.
Currently new feedback website needs a separate login so please vote => Add the feedback website to the Faithlife SSO system that has 14 votes.

Google email is free => https://mail.google.com that can authorize "G" login at https://feedback.faithlife.com (without sharing email password so Google SSO already works). Google account has personalization options so can choose what others see, pause web activity history, keep location private, ... Thankful Google email is useful for distribution lists: e.g. Faithlife Daily Digest. Caveat: choose wisely for Google email knowledge.

You're right M.J.
Thanks for pointing that out.
I am very leery about the internet and making an account with a third party that I know nothing about. For better or worse, I will wait till I can sign in with my Faithlife account.

I just hope that the powers that be at FL are responsive to the feedback. Some suggestions with a lot of votes sat languishing.
I also hope this is a good solution.
My biggest wish is that the FL Forums, the feedback, the Faithlife.com was all in one place. It feels like a Google situation with three things all doing the same thing. All that said, I hope this ends up being a good solution and will give it a good shot.
