Will the Kindle App be updated to L9?
For clarification, you mean the Android version of the Logos Bible App in the Kindle Fire App Store. If I understand correctly, the answer is that it has been submitted and is awaiting approval from Amazon

Thanks, JT. Logos 9.0 is now available in the Kindle Fire app store. The minimum supported version is Android 7.0. Older Kindles may not be able to run Android 7.
We have heard several reports from users where they can't see the update and then they randomly can. It might be a caching issue. Maybe try restarting the app store to see if that refreshes it.

I own a 7th gen Fire HD10 and a 9th gen HD10. Searching for "Logos Bible Software" in both tablets; L9 app only appears on the newer version.

Daniel,
When I look in the app store, it invites me to OPEN Bible Version 9.0.0, implying it's already installed. (I never got a notice that it had updated.) When I go ahead & open the app & check the version, it says the version is 8.10.1 build 810010281.
And it looks/acts a lot like the version I was using yesterday, including the same icon, not the new-improved "half" icon on my phone, which DOES look/act a little different.
Uninstalled, reinstalled, same story.
So, what's the real version number?
EDIT: after doing some research, it's a gen 7 tablet; even tho' 9.0 appears, it likely won't run on my 2yo tablet. :-(
This is correct.
Kindle Fire devices are inexpensive devices that run old technology. [:s]
