I hope with release of Logos 10 that it has the following... (a few of my favorite things... I am sure others have some additions to this list).
1. In the mobile app.... the ability to insert heading in passage lists like in the desktop version.
2. ZipScript upgraded to work with Logos Bibles. If not, then ability to have command key to open, type in a passage and paste it automatically into anything that I am working with: excel, word, powerpoint... etc. I first said InstaVerse... but I meant ZipScript.
3. Ability to have and edit and add bullets and numer items in slides in Sermon Builder.
4. Factbook updated - to work with all books.
5. Cross Reference - update to have more results.
6. Concordance Tool - have a button to click on for search and highlight the word for the result of the search.
7. Would like ability to expand and/or decrease sub topic of the Table of Contents on every book or page in Logos.
8. Please change Logos so that the first book that is opened (when no other books are opened) will open to the "LEFT" side of the screen instead of the right side of the screen.
9. Ability to sort Sermons and Passage Lists by name in mobile app.
xn = Christan man=man -- Acts 11:26 "....and the disciples were first called Christians in Antioch".

10. I hope Logos 10 will have a "personal dictionary" whereby we can use accronyms for words (i.e. jc=Jesus, hs= Holy Spirit, ntt = New Testament, etc and etc.) so we can type faster.

Do you mean autocomplete? If not, what is preventing you from using the acronyms now?

That would be reinventing the wheel. How about?
"I hope that Logos 10 will make use of the inbuilt dictionary and autocomplete when when we are typing enabling the contractions we have programmed (i.e. jc=Jesus, hs= Holy Spirit, ntt = New Testament, etc and etc.) to be used."

The New Treasury of Scripture Knowledge is also available too.
Yes, but I was referring to the latest edition while being too lazy to look up the title see The Ultimate Cross-Reference Treasury - Faithlife Forums (logos.com)
Thanks I wasn't aware of this newer one. I loved both previous ones in hardcover and digital but I know I will only go for the digital Ultimate now, thanks again for the heads up.

I'll try to clairfy .... Presently we users cannot define acronyms ... as I know it. I believe it would take each user to have his on "Personal Dictionary" which would allow him/her to set up their on acronyms to work with them and no one else. Word has this now.... I had it in WordSearch.... and I miss it. I got so used to having my own acronyms... that when I came to Logos... I spelled a lot of things wrong... .
I think this "Personal Ditionary" would be helpful in Logos for some (like me) that do a lot of typing.
Hope this clarification helps.....[8-|]
Oh... and Mike Binks..... I think my wife got into my personal dictionary.... cause when I type "idiot" it inserts... "So you are!".....

I still don't understand, so let me present two options to see if one fits:
- You type "FWIW" into a note. The note changes the text to "For What It's Worth."
- You type "FWIW" into a note. The text remains "FWIW." When you hover over "FWIW" a popup appears with the text, "For What Its Worth"
Are one of those what you mean?
The first one is what we meant by "auto correct." Mac has this built in, although I don't know if Logos allows for it. I'll check!
EDIT: It doesn't. When Mac users complain about Logos not being "native," this is one of those things.

The Mac & iOS have this ability (I don't know about Windows/Android). You create shortcuts under the keyboard settings.
You get more power/control with specialized apps like Typinator or TextExpander (and others) on the Mac. They work in Logos, email, Obsidian, Word, Pages, Google Docs, etc. You can also create your own set of autocorrect for misspelled words: Weirsebe corrects to Wiersbe, teh corrects to the, abotu corrects to about, etc. Also, I use these apps to send weekly emails to our worship team. The email has the same text but the app inserts the file names from the clipboard.

Thanks. But, I'm just not rich enough to buy Apple products.... [:(]
Edit: I think Windows has such things.... but the problem is... that as far as I have tried so far.... they don't work when I'm typing in on of the Logos docs.... like Sermon Builder or such....

11. Change search in Library search to allow either lower case or capital letters... seems that it is case sensitive now.
12. Passage Guide... all to be able to "right-click" to enter a passage anywhere in the document. Currently, can only enter a passage at the bottom of the document and then have to manually move it up in the document.

Done - mine is not case sensitive in the search argument area. nor in the facet search area.

I believe you mean "add a new section" to the Passage Guide. The passage reference is entered once at the top.

Another fumble by myself.... Which, even if I do say so myself... I'm very good at fumbling. Fumbling may be my greatest forte !!!
What I meant is...
11. You are right about this one.
12. Passage List - ability to right click and enter a passage anywhere in the document. As it stands now.... we have go to the bottom of the passage list.... enter a passage... then move that passage up to where we want it in the document.
Thanks.

From what I can vaguely recall from when I started this thread, it was semi-tongue in cheek based on the predictions vs. reality when L9 was released.
of course, if I guessed it right and FL wants to reward me with a discount, I wouldn’t say no 😉

Heresy Checker™ – No need to worry about accidentally affirming Arianism or the latest Joel Osteen book. That quote from C. S. Lewis? The Heresy Checker™ will popup a window reminding you that Lewis was not fully orthodox in his writings!
This tool also gives the user a "Select Your Orthodoxy" dropdown, so the user can select the view they consider orthodox, against which the scanned content will be searched for discrepancies.
Unfortunately it seems that "What I think" is not an option offered in this dropdown! [:D]

I hope with release of Logos 10 that it has the following... (a few of my favorite things... I am sure others have some additions to this list). The list has been changed to protect the innocent and because my learning is increasing. But, I think it's good to keep these things current --- kind of like the Persistent Friend (Luk 11:5-10) [8-|]
1. In the mobile app....
- The ability to insert heading in passage lists like in the desktop version.
- Ability to read Personal Books created in the desktop version. Currently when a book is created it shows up in the "My Library"... just add ability to "download that book" in the mobile app.
- Ability to sort Sermons and Passage Lists by name in mobile app.
2. ZipScript upgraded to work with Logos Bibles. If not, then ability to have command key to open, type in a passage and paste it automatically into anything that I am working with: excel, word, powerpoint... NoteTaker ... etc.
3. Factbook updated - to work with all books (like ws....).
4. Concordance Tool - have a button to click on for search and highlight the word for the result of the search.
5. Would like ability to expand and/or decrease sub topic of the Table of Contents on every resource or page in Logos Hopefully by adding "< >" to ToC top menu bar.
6. Please change Logos so that the first book that is opened (when no other books are opened) will open to the "LEFT" side of the screen instead of the right side of the screen. Currently first resource opened in Logos opens on right side of screen.
7. I hope Logos 10 will have a "personal dictionary" whereby we can use acronyms for words (i.e. jc=Jesus, hs= Holy Spirit, ntt = New Testament, etc and etc.) so we can type faster. Like in Word and we had in WordSearch.
8. Ability in Sermon Builder to be able to define a template and actually choose that template and have SB actually remember how that template was set up as we type. At the least, be able to save how we set up Headings in SB along with how the text and background is set up. So that if I click on Heading 4... I get how I set up Heading 4 and not have to re-format Heading 4.
9. Ability to "link" one individual Note to another individual Note. Currently, We can link Notebooks but not individual Notes. This would enhance Notes greatly.
10. Passage Guide...- A. add to be able to "right-click" to enter a passage anywhere in the document. Currently, can only enter a passage at the bottom of the document and then have to manually move it up in the document.
- Add ability to have colored text and colored background of text of headings in the document.

I think you are talking about adding a guide section. The passage is enterable only at the top of the document.

Not the same at all. I want to be able to (in the middle or elsewhere) in a Passage List... to right click and add a verse....

Okay, then I can't make sense out of your request. A passage guide is on a fixed passage. Having different sections of a passage guide refer to different passages would lead to mayhem and require a major rewrite.. It is easy enough to open a separate guide consisting of a single section that you set to your additional verse(s).

In Docs its called Passage List.... Its the place where you list a bunch of passages.... it's not Passage Guide where you study a passage...
Look under Docs -->New-->Passage List
I use them to group passages of like things together.... so that I can find some things when I need it......
Edit: I don't find it listed in the Guides or in the Tools.... don't know why.... but it is listed in Docs... Could be a carry over from WordSearch.... ????
