Shortcut folders cause system hang for 30 seconds repeatedly.

When adding books to the new folders in shortcuts nothing works for 30 seconds after a new book is placed on the shortcut bar or when moved into a shortcut folder. It seemed to have worked fine until I had 6 folders and moved all books and other shortcuts into folders. Then as I started adding bibles to the first folder, Bible. I started losing control after each bible was moved to the shortcut bar in preparation for moving it to the folder. There may have been some hangs when moving books into the Bible folder too. I have 14,000 books in my library. I now have 13 Bibles in the Bible folder that was giving me trouble. /*  email removed for security reasons   */

    Shortcuts folders is currently a crude* implementation and I'm sure it will be made more robust, or fixed, based on this type of feedback.

    * clearing/changing the folder name in each shortcut is the only way to delete/rename it.

    How many resources do you have in folders? Do you mean you have all 14K resources in shortcuts?

    I am super excited about the folders. I can put my Bible study layouts in one, utilities in another, etc. However, I cannot wait until drag and drop has been implemented for them.

    I haven't started creating folders yet, still working out the system, but I will post back here if I experience the same problem.

    No I do not have all my books in shortcuts.  I do have about 30 books in shortcuts. This seems to be less opf a problem inV9.
