Curious about L9 choices made...
Like many in the Logos world, I'm trying to figure out what my next move is as it relates to L9. I'm a lay person who uses Logos for personal Bible study and lesson preparation for an adult Bible study class. I already have more resources than I can use so likely just going with the Full Feature Upgrade.
Would love to know what other folks (especially the more casual users like myself) are doing.
My Logos history:
2012 Leader's Library and L5 Bronze (minimal crossgrade)
2014 L6 Silver
2016 L7 Bronze
2018 L7 Silver
2019 L8 Gold

Resource-wise I'm more on the casual side, but when it comes to playing with the various functions, and figuring out how the APIs work, I'm certainly a power user.
My Logos history reaches quite far back.

I honestly do not recall my history. I had L8 Platinum, however I really wanted the Carta collection and it was cheaper with Standard Silver. It also updated the Tyndale Commentaries and a few extras. I am on FL connect so I do not purchase features. That was my thinking. If there is a resource you want that is cheaper in a base package, then buy the base package. If not then buy the features you want.

On the other hand, purchasing features and library together does provide a considerable discount.

I found the Academic Essentials package gave me the upgrade with the resources I found useful. The Verbum Academic Essentials package includes nice video training resources if you like such tools.

That is, of course, assuming that the library resources are ones that the user desires and will use. Many (most) of the resources that come with Silver package and above are original language related which I have no interest in. You could, in my opinion, do well with a lesser upgrade level and not miss out on stuff. I went with the Reformed Bronze. It was only ten dollars more than the Bronze Feature upgrade and I picked up a couple resources I actually wanted. Bronze doesn't get me every feature upgrade, but the stuff left out is not stuff I'll use. Total was less than eighty bucks.

Sure would be nice to have a single matrix with packages on one axis and features on another to allow at-a-glance comparison.

IMO it very much depends on the contents of the packages. Over the years you can try to build up a list of resources that you are interested in, but not affordable at the time (e.g. save it in the wish list in the website.)
If you already have some things you are interested in your mind (say T(O/N)TC, NAC, etc.) then you can go through each base packages and click "Hide owned books" and see if there's things you are interested in there. You could try to add up individual ones and see if the package deal is cheaper. There are a lot more packages than in the past so this can be laborious but you can start with the obvious ones first.
Also you can "reverse the search", go to the titles in your wish list, and then check "This title is included in the following collections". Some time you find surprises there. e.g. in the past Logos 8 Anglican Silver(?) contains the BST OT that the standard packages don't have.
Also, you can subscribe to Connect (first time is free) and try out the Full Feature first. Then end the subscription and see if you missed any of the new features.
Lastly, it is very tempted to just say you should buy L9 Platinum from your history. It is just a logical continuation of that list... (Don't take this seriously...)

Have you considered any of the denominational packages? I am expecting to buy from a number of denominational streams this round, once I finish getting all the details worked out.

Yes, the Silver Feature Upgrade is the frontrunner at the moment. I've viewed a few of the denominational packages and no resources jump out at me. I think I'll go ahead and pull the trigger on the Silver Feature Upgrade.

After much pouring over the different packages, I'm near the same conclusion myself. Since I have full features through L8, there are very few differences between the Silver & Full Feature upgrades, and they're things I wouldn't use anyway.
The other attractive option is Academic Premium, which has the Full Feature set plus quite a number of works I should have in my library. I'm going to take a few more days to decide between the two.

I have no clue the history, except I started with Series X Scholar Gold I think it was. I have upgraded with every version since and even owned Logos 1.x Mac which was sort of like version three.
For me thIs round is Academic Premium and Standard Gold. The trouble is since my library has grown so much over the years, I really don’t think I have any real needs except to buy an updated commentary or reference work here and there, so most of the larger packages don’t appeal to me. If I ever see a good deal on the journals and I can afford it, I might be tempted. Also would like to pick up Fathers of the Church Collection and Ancient Writers Collection, but still can’t justify the price as it would be more of a luxury than a necessity for study.
I supposed that is why I like what Logos is doing with Facebook and data sets. I like resources that help me mine and get the most out of my library.

For those of you who say you don't know your history, you can view "Order History" from your account. Be sure to first select "Show All" and then Export to CSV. Once you open it in Excel, set a filter on the "Total" column for Greater Than some amount -or- Sort the column to identify the largest totals which should reveal the upgrades.

You can also "sort by" price directly on the Order History web page. It's right above "Export to CSV."

Have you checked out the Verbum 9 libraries, especially Eastern Rite?
