Can I reset all Text sizes?

Hello all, long time Logos/Verbum user and lurker. I just upgraded to Verbum 9 and I have a question.

In Settings, Content Scaling controls the size of text in resources, guides, documents and tool panels. However, if the text size is changed anywhere, that overrides the global setting - as it should.

Years ago I changed a lot of resources as I went through them, shrinking the text size. Now years later, my eyes are worse and I am constantly having to slide the text size bar larger each time I am in a new resources that came up in a guide, search, etc.

So I was wondering - is there a way to reset text size for all resources, overriding the changes in individual resources? I am pretty tech literate so if it means deleting a file etc. I can do that, I just need to be sure there are no unintended consequences. I am on a Mac.

Thanks!

In the Program Settings, there are both Program and Content Scaling options. That should change things globally.

So I was mistaken and got clarification from a developer.

Changes to the global settings won't override any changes previously made to specific panels.

You have to go to each panel and adjust them back to the current global setting (the large tic mark).

If they are already at the default setting, but don't sync with the global setting, you have to make a change to the panel setting and then change it back to the whatever is currently global and then it will stay in sync.

Ah thanks Philana, that's what I feared. It's not very practical, I probably have hundreds that I set over the years throughout my library, and my library is certainly large enough I can't just go through opening each resource and checking it. Ah well I'll just keep changing them as I go. I was hoping these were kept in a file or something that I could just delete and it would go back to a generic standard setting for all resources, as I was pretty sure there was no setting to do it. Too bad!
