In the settings, one is given the choice of light mode, dark mode, or system. Could someone please explain what the system setting does? Thank you.

Your computer operating system, in preferences allows for you to select at the computer level if you want light or dark mode. Logos 9 will follow what you select there if you pick system.

Thank you, John. I checked in Windows settings and found two controls there: It asks you if you want to set the default mode in Windows to light or dark and it also asks if you want to set the default mode in your apps to light or dark. I assume that if you set the setting in Logos to 'System,' it looks to your Windows settings for apps, correct?
