Value vs Bling

The FL team with this iteration has successfully focused on putting in our hands a product that has focused on value vs a showy rollout that was more shine than function. I am impressed with this development. Many have asked that FL stay the course of focusing on rounding out the features it has already developed and fixing aspects of the program that were in need of attention.

I want projects like EEC and Lexham Geographic Commentaries finished. And as I have opined in a prior post https://community.logos.com/forums/p/194816/1123847.aspx aggressively pursue wanted resources and ventures. I am most pleased with the acquisition of WordSearch and the opportunities it affords, not to mention the customer base (new forum buddies!). Blabbing on and on is tiresome, I think I've made my point, I need not be comprehensive here. Hooray for FL!

Products like EEC are dependent upon the third parties writing the commentaries. Delays do happen, contracted authors have to pull out for unforseen circumstances and the search for a new author has to begin. But I'm with you in wanting to see this projects finished. But i want them to be of the highest academic standard. I don't want them rushed if it means getting a poor product.

Thanks for your positive feedback. I want to reassure you that we are continuing work on the Geographic Commentaries series, though it hasn't moved as quickly as I'd originally hoped. One challenge there is that we've gotten so much great content from our contributors: we recently decided we needed to split the Historical Books content into two volumes to better manage it all (https://www.logos.com/product/186411/lexham-geographic-commentaries). We didn't want to drop the excellent content, but this will let us get some of it out sooner.

I love new features and improvements but I warmly second that major content from Lexham and others is king. Logos is, after all, a library software program so the library is the crown that shows Logos reigns.
