Populating the Sermon Manager with Previous Sermons
Hi all
The new Sermon manager looks good although I am not sure how one can import previous sermons (from Word) to populate it. I think that this feature existed at some point in the past but can't find out how to use it or whether it still exists . I also see that you can import word documents in bulk using https://sermons.faithlife.com/ however I am not sure if this then feeds into the Sermon Manager in Logos or not. Can anyone gives some advice?
thanks
Paul

This existed for the Sermon Writer feature (I forget what it was called exactly) in LDLS3 (over ten years ago).

I don't know of an automatic way to do this, but you can copy and paste your sermons into Sermon Builder. Have to do that one sermon at a time, though, at least as far as I know.

Thanks Alan, I figured that was probably the case - thanks for confirming.0 -

Thanks Bradley, I've commented on this. What about sermons.faithlife.com? Does that feed directly into Logos? I can't see that it does, but it seems obvious that it should!

I know it feeds into the passage guide and Logos Sermon Builder feeds your sermons into the site if you opt into having them public shared on the sight and other peoples passage guide reports. It may feed elesewhere into the software, I am not sure so will have to wait for others to chime in with more details.
How would you like to see sermons.faithlife.com and Logos software integrate with one another?

Thanks for the reply. I think the Sermon Manager is a useful addition and has two main aspects as I see it. Firstly forward planning and secondly for easy reference to historical sermons. The usefulness of the second category, for me, is substantially reduced by no easy way to import multiple sermons. I appreciate I can copy and paste but don't really want to paste 15+ of sermons in by hand. I am happy to edit once imported but its a lot of work.

In an ideal world I would be able to bulk import all my sermons (kept as private) into Logos either through sermons.faithlife.com or the desktop app.

Thanks for the reply Bradley - can you confirm how the integration for sermons works between the sermons.faithlife.com and Logos desktop please?

In the Logos Sermon Editor, you can "Publish" a sermon to Faithlife Sermons: https://support.logos.com/hc/en-us/articles/360016747391-Sermon-Builder#export

OK thanks. And how do sermons imported into sermons.faithlife.com get draw into Logos please? (They seem to arrive in the passage guide but not as sermons).

Yes, there is the guide section that displays public sermons from Faithlife Sermons.
There's no "Import" feature from Faithlife Sermons (or Word, etc.) into a Sermon Document. That's what this suggestion is gauging interest in: https://feedback.faithlife.com/boards/logos-desktop-app/posts/import-third-party-sermon-documents-into-sermon-manager
