Text selection
I am not sure if anyone else is experiencing this, but occasionally it stops allowing me to select text on an opened book. I can flip to other books and they are fine, even if open on a split page with the one not working, but I can’t highlight or select, or double click without restarting the app

Does the UI do something funny when this happens? There have been issues before where text selection stops working and the solution is a full restart of the app. When that happened, the UI would be a bit wonky.

Hard to describe, but yes - when pressing on a word it kind of magnifies temporarily and then just does nothing. If it is a known bug then I will just do the restart

You might also try rotating the screen and back as a work around.

this happened to me again today — first time in a while. and closing out-resetting the app and restarting the ipad didn’t solve it. it resolved itself on its own after an hour.
so weird and very difficult to pin-point.
a friend who is a programmer suggested it was some weird glitch with maxed out queries and the cloud.
