L9 Windows Touch Screen Full Support

Logos has been moving the bar in a good direction with the L9 release.  Phil and team have implemented many of the wish lists items for L8 over the last 2 years.  Thank you.

Here is one requested feature that has been ignored for quite a long time.  Many who have Windows touch devices and are expecting finger and stylus to work are surprised to find that the implementation is half baked. Although there is some support for touch enabled Windows devices it does not work consistently throughout the UI.

I’m hoping this might receive some much needed attention at some point in the L9 rollout.  Any hope this will happen?

Probably depends a lot on how many votes it gets at https://feedback.faithlife.com/

I don’t know how to confirm but I thought I read in another post that this feature request has had the second highest votes for some time.  If that is true then the number of votes has not helped to advance its implementation.

Fallacy alert: We do not know what tasks are on the roadmap or their relative priority. All we can safely assume is that it is not planned within the next 3 to 6 months. To assume more than that discourages some people from voting. We have had several projects take several years to be visibly on the horizon as FL builds the underpinnings required for that (and other) requested features.

MJ, point taken.  We can only hope as I can only speculate as to why this is taking so long.  From my perspective votes are only part of the consideration and it is not my intention to discourage others from voting.  Thank you.

I don’t know how to confirm but I thought I read in another post that this feature request has had the second highest votes for some time.

In the old, defunct UserVoice, the suggestion that had the most votes--by miles--was implemented in Logos/Verbum 9: Dark Mode.

With Dark Mode now implemented, Windows touch screen full support could become the most voted for feature at https://feedback.faithlife.com...

I know there are no guarantees but that is promising to hear.  Thank you SineNomine.
