Specifically, I think it would be nice if Faithlife created a data set and Factbook resource that identifies all fishermen and instances of fishing and related activities, such as net-mending, (with their metadata) in the Bible.

I have a question: I see a LARGE number of requests on the Feedback Board for "All xxx in the Bible." Some make sense, e.g. All parables, All miracles, All deaths.

But some, like sleeping, fishing, etc... can't those be accomplished with some kind of word search?

Will we end up tagging every imaginable object / concept in the Bible? Is it necessary?

I don't mind the tagging, per se.

But regarding ease of use, adding tens or hundreds of datasets might add to the complexity of how to search. I wouldn't think we'd need or want separate datasets for each profession (e.g., fisherman, tax collectors, teachers) or action that person might do pertaining to their profession.

What I'd really like to see is how a particular query might be accomplished using what we already have, rather than adding an additional way to perform a particular query.

That depends upon the semantic domains - without them the answer is no.

Consider the long popularity of resources such as:

Given the direction that Faithlife has taken in Thompson, Jeremy, ed. 2020. Lists of Biblical People, Places, Things, and Events. Bellingham, WA: Faithlife, I think that is is reasonable to ask that the topics covered in Meredith's or Wilmington's also be available in Factbook. Whether they are best requested individually is a separate question.

Agree, 'every imaginable' might be a bit involved.

OTOH, many have significance beyond their modern meaning. Today's suggestion about weather and conceivably the stars is significant due the close association with the gods. So, I'd assume several dimensions would need to be recognized.
