Notes Numbering within the Mobile App (iPad OS)

t some point the numbering in IOS and iPadOS stopped working properly. Instead of getting (1), (a), (I), and so forth, like I do on the desktop it only has (1), (1), (1), etc.. Is this a bug in IOS & iPadOS or Logos app?

If this has already been answered please direct me to that post.
