BUG: Opening Canvas Doc Shows Blank; Causes Unresponsiveness

As per the title when I open a canvas document from the document plane, the canvas tool opens blank. When I try and close the tool, Logos hangs and becomes unresponsive. I do not have this issues on the web app. 

Oddly this happens with some canvas documents but not others. Please advise.
