Add an anchor to a highlight without highlighting the additional anchor

When highlighting a sentence in a Logos resource (e.g. a commentary) that deals with a certain Bible passage I would like to add a Bible anchor to that highlight so that I am able to see in my Bible that I've highlighted the responding passage in the commentary. However, if I do that, the entire Bible passage is highlighted as well which I don't want. (I keep Bible highlights only for important phrases etc.) It is especially inconvenient if the commentary deals with several verses at once. That way I would eventually get my whole Bible highlighted... :-)

Does anybody know a workaround? (Copying the passage of the commentary, putting it into a regular note and adding the anchor is too much effort. It takes away the advantage of the ease of highlighting.)

Thanks in advance and greetings from Germany! :-)

I too at times have desired what you are asking.  The only work around I have found is after you have highlighted the sentence select it a second time and this time rather than highlighting choose to add a note. You can then anchor this notes to the relevant bible passage. No need to copy and paste the commentary text. I realise this requires a second step but there is no way around that. A single annotation (highlight/note) does not allow for assigning a different highlighting style/icon for each anchor point attached to the annotation.

Its a small inconvenience to have to do a second step on the desktop app to achieve the desired outcome, but is more painful doing it on mobile app on the phone.
