Preaching view - option to remove slides from screen

I don't need to see the slides on my tablet when I preach. It unnecessarily fills the screen and limits the amount of text I can see from my message notes.

Is there any possibility of adding an option to remove the showing of the slides in the preaching app so that the whole screen could be filled with text?

That would help a lot.

On your tablet you can do this already. When in preaching mode, in the upper right hand corner you should three stacked folders. press that and the slides disappear.

Hi Kenneth, I can remove the slides on the pc logos application, when editing a sermon, but there is no such option on the android tablet app. Maybe it works on ios only? Which do you use?

I am on IOS while in preaching mode, in the upper right hand corner are the tiled slides and Aa. I just tap on the tiled slides and they appear and then disappear. I even use the Aa to control or change font size. I do not know if android has the same options, but I think they would.

I don't seem to have that option on Android. Under the Aa control there is no option to remove the slides. And, if I tap on the slides, nothing happens. Might be an android vs IOS thing. So hopefully it is coming soon!

On my phone I see the settings you mention, but on my tablet it's not showing. I have the same 9.0.2 running on my phone and on my tablet. So it's a little bit weird.

I am on an Android tablet as well. If I use it in Landscape mode there is no option. The slides are there. If I turn it Portrait length the slides are on top and I have the option to see them or not.

Thanks Glen. I tested it now and you are right. In Portrait length the slides can be turned on or off on an Android tablet.

I'm not sure if it is meant to be like that? Whoever uses Portrait mode to preach from? I certainly don't.

I would appreciate it if Logos would give the option to turn it on or off in Landscape mode as well. You lose about 20% of the screen with the slides on in Lanscape mode.

The best solution for me was to create my outline in Microsoft Word then copy and paste it into the sermon editor. When you do this it doesn’t create slides. This works for me because I don’t need slides, but I still get the hyperlinks for Scripture references.
