all visual filters missing after update

I just updates to Logos 4.0d SR-1 and all the visual filters are gone from my Greek and Hebrew Bibles!
That is, in the visual filters drop-down the entire highlighting section is simply gone!
This seems like a major bug. Do I need to do a system restore?

could you show a screen shot of the visual filter? It is working on my system (English Bibles)
Edit: e.g. use File then select a Visual Filter from the file list (one which is supposed to work in your Hebrew/Greek)
Sure. This one worked for the BHS before I did the update.

Looks right as far as i can tell (i don't have BHS 4.2)
Just setup VFs in Greek & BHS (not 4.2)
and it seems to work in 4.0dSR1Have you tried closing L4 and then reopening it since the update?
Edit: i don't have Westminster morph for my BHS, can you try changing All Resources to BHS

Is L4 indexing? Did you update from 4.0c?

This question has come up often enough now that I've added a FAQ for it: http://wiki.logos.com/Visual_Filters_Missing

This should have been forecast by Logos in the Release Notes for 4.0d together with getting zero results in Searches. It is entirely predictable and not necessarily caused by any major resource update because it may retain the current index whilst creating a supplementary one whereas the 4.0d upgrade rebuild removed the current index.

It would have been nice to know that once I upgraded the software that I would then be unable to use it for 3 hours (indexing time). I use quite a bit of heavy duty software (Maya, Modo, etc) and I can't think of anything that installs that slow. A little "this update will require indexing which can take up to 5 hours" warning would seem appropriate.

Other things index in the background and can take a long time (like Windows Explorer file indexing) but it is virtually unnoticeable that it's happening, and the only effect of it not being completed is that a file search will take longer than it would if the index were in place. It doesn't cause large features of Windows to be completely missing. [:S]
