Can't highlight & bold text at the same time

Hi everyone. 

I wanted to highlight some text in the Bible. I chose a solid colour & also bold, however it only bolded the text. I noticed that I could only do one thing at a time eg: put a solid colour & press done, then go back into highlight again and put bold. Why can't I do both at the same time?

Hi Tina - and welcome to the forums

If I understand you correctly, you are using the highlight tool with the popup menu as shown below

If so, you are applying pre-defined highlight styles and there isn’t one that combines a colour and bolding the text.

You could create your own highlighting style - you would need to do this on the Logos desktop and it would then sync to mobile - that would enable you to do what you are looking for. Details on doing this are at https://wiki.logos.com/Highlighting
