From Verbum Help:

In order to get results, I am changing the search argument to Jesus.
The results are available in two sequences:
- By title (alphabetic)
- Alphabetic by title with document type
The results appear in one of two formats:
- Format 1: the entry can be expanded and collapsed. In expanded mode, it shows a title and an excerpt in which the results are highlighted. Mouse-over on a highlighted result opens a preview; clicking opens the resource to that position.
- Format 2: the entry has no expand/collapse option nor preview. Clicking on the document name opens it.
One may also view the results in document type sequence. Results under the document type behave as in the By Title view.
Your personal books section
From Verbum Help:
[quote]Personal Books
Lists results from user-created Personal Books.[2]
Note I changed the search argument from <Person Abraham> to “Abraham” in order to get results.
The results from resources built by the Personal Book Builder are similar to the Verbum supplied resources with little or no Faithlife coding. The behavior of the results is identical to that in our numerous examples of basic and Bible searches.
Faithlife sermons section
From Verbum Help:
[quote]Faithlife Sermons
Lists community-created sermons uploaded to Sermons.Faithlife.com that are related to the search term. Click Search all sermons at Sermons.Faithlife.com to open a browser to additional sermon results from Sermons.Faithlife.com. [3]
This section searches outside your library, searching the Faithlife web site Sermons.Faithlife.com for relevant sermons. Options allow you to search all sermons, sermons of people you are following, or only your own uploaded/published sermons.
One can see the same results by executing the “Search all sermons at Sermons.Faithlife.com” at the bottom of the section.
Notice that Abraham (and related forms e.g. Abrahamic) are shown in bold in the extract of the text. Occurrences of Abraham in the title and in the topic list lack special marking.
Faithlife Sermons will be discussed in detail when the Homily Manager/Homily Builder is discussed.
Faithlife media section
For Help see: Use Faithlife Stock Media
Full access to FaithlifeMedia is a separate subscription.
On mouse-over, a title or Bible reference is given. A click takes one to the web site:
Again, a discussion of the media site is reserved for the discussion of building lessons in the homily builder.
Topic section
From Verbum Help:
[quote]Topic
Lists articles that discuss the search term that appears under Look it up. A search suggestion, and links to re-run the search as a Topic Guide and Sermon Starter Guide appear above the Look it up options.[4]
This section is often omitted from the results. I switched the search argument to the text argument “Abraham” to obtain results.
- On mouse-over article title or resource, a standard preview window opens.
- On click the resource is opened to the article shown.
- One can control the order of the list through prioritizing the resources.
