short cut bar Folders
Is i possible to put a multi-volume commentary (e.g. UBS) into a folder on the shortcut bar in a single process?

To my knowledge, unless you can find an icon for the whole set, no. It's a one-at-a-time process.
But I'll be following the thread in case there's a secret method out there.

If you could do such a thing (and I'm not aware of any mechanism to do so) how would you use it?
- Are you looking for the ability to open a folder and select any commentary from that series?
- Or are you looking for a single button that will open the correct commentary (the one relevant to the passage being studied) from that series?
- Something else?

Graham, I won't speak for him, but the way I read the question, he wants your first bullet point (add a whole set as a folder).
I was looking for the same thing a few days ago...adding a collection as a folder. I gave up.

Probably the best you can do is place one of the volumes from a series on the short cut bar and just type in where you want to go from there. It will change to the desired commentary in that series:
Logos Series X Pastor’s Library | Logos 3 Leader’s Library | 4 Portfolio | 5 Platinum | 6 Feature Crossgrade | 7 Essential | 8 M & W Platinum and Academic Professional | 9 Academic Professional and Messianic Jewish Diamond

That would be the most realistic i.e. where you type a reference after opening the one resource (which you likely have to do anyway).

An alternative idea is prioritizing UBS series into Top 5 resources with Bible Indexing so Right Click => Reference => Look Up shows appropriate volume in UBS series
Inverted image as Dark Mode is hard to read for some forum users.
Screen shot shows pop-up from UBS (mouse hover in Look up)

Another option which you may consider is to drag a bible to the shortcut bar that has a Multiview Resource open to the series you want. It will then change your active bible to that Multiview series when you click on it. It will keep your bible location as it is, and just change the series to that location.
If you change the series, and drag again to the shortcut bar, whilst both shortcuts will show the same bible, they will open individually to the series that was active when you dragged the icon the shortcut bar. You can rename the shortcuts and change the icon as required to differentiate them.

Personally, I'd refine that just a bit. Instead, I'd create a Layout as Scott described and then place the Layout on the SC bar. (Or just save it as one of the default Layouts.)
And don't forget, you can change the Series name for any volume to create customized commentary sets...I have half a dozen or so and they work fantastic when jumping around scripture.
