Is there any way to scroll an open book to set the view to a specific section of content?

For example, on the iOS app you can use two fingers with anything you are reading and drag the text so you can see exactly the section you want on the screen. On the desktop app the only thing I've ever been able to do is scroll by page number. Is there any way to do something like you can do on iOS to adjust what section of text you view in the app at one time?

Maybe I am misunderstanding you, but the only way in the Desktop app to have that sort of precision is to make sure that the Columns are set to "None" on the resource menu.

BTW: I just noticed that Logos 9 doesn't highlight the current Columns setting, so it's hard to know what it's set to.

You understood correctly. I don't use column mode because I read full screen and the width would be unreadable. I was hoping there was a way to emulate what you can do on iOS and I had simply missed it. if not, perhaps Logos would add this as a feature in the next release

Is this a mistype Samuel? Did you mean that you don't use single column mode because...?

I have just tried a couple of resources and find that I can scroll the text just fine with columns set to three.

If I rest two fingers on the track pad I can scroll the text (providing it has focus) the way I would do any other scrolling.

Yes, you can scroll in multi-column, this is true. But it goes to the whole next page/screen.

What Samuel is looking for is the ability to scroll just a line or two up from the next page, not the whole next page. This can be done on an iPad using two fingers. It's very handy if you want to highlight a section that crosses over into the next page by just a few lines.
