Using "bible:search term" syntax even if you're only searching bibles.
I notice something.
Even though I have a "Bibles-English-Favorite" collection that I use when I want to search an English word, using the search syntax "Bible:word" eliminates hits on notes. In the shot below you can see the NET notes.
FYI; Just in case I'm not the only one who didn't know this.

We normally use a Bible Search for bibles, which inherently employs the same field search and also avoids footnotes. For non-bibles it may be worthwhile using surface:word for the same purpose.

Dave,
I avoided using a "bible search" because a "basic search" is generally faster overall....
Using a bible search took 8 seconds for searching just the ESV

I know, but your post implied you only used the bible:word syntax to avoid notes when it is essential for bibles in a Basic Search.
