Specific course video stops

Logos: Logos Bible Software 9.0 SR-2 9.0.0.0181
Course: LT122
Video: Easy Reading: Comparing Translations
Stop point: 6:17
Video length: 8:30

Attempted to resolve using the course's "download all media" but the video still stops at the same place.

Also tried the "Delete downloaded media" option for this course, closed and reopened Logos, but the video still stops.

What should I do now? Thank you

You could delete your webcache, that will however remove all your previously downloaded video and audio files for all courses and media etc.

On Windows it will be by default under C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\Logos\Data\RANDOM.STR\WebCache

You will need to close Logos to delete this.

Playing the faithlifetv media had the same problem but cleared up after several attempts. (???)

Reloaded Desktop Logos; exhibits the video problem.

Accessed the course from the web interface via https://app.logos.com/ and the video worked fine.

As you can see; I'm trying things before doing anything with the WebCache. My cache is in another folder because I likely tried Logos5 some time ago, it's in C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\Logos5\Data\xdym10wa.dog\WebCache

I will likely NOT do anything with the WebCache folder and finish this video from the web app and continue on.

I have occasionally had videos that did the same, then start working later, or on a different machine, and have never really worked out why it happens.

It may have something to do with the CDN, some servers may have a corrupt version, but that is speculation.

At least you got to see the video. [Y]
