I have the Logos4 Setup program from January, 2010. When I ran it, I get a "C++ error - see program administrator."
Thus, it appears my particular configuration of a Dell 7100 with Windows Home Premium 64 bit will not run Logos 4.
It had worked fine on Windows XP SP3.
I have had problems with certain other programs not being able to run for me. I'm just not going to even try to use them. For example, those programs needing MS Net Framework 1 sent a message that that program was incompatible with MS Net Framework 4 which my system requires. I tried to uninstall another one but left Outlook 2010 on my mistake and it left Outlook 2010 disabled. I rebooted and Outlook 2010 was repaired by the system dropping a Bluetooth add in for it which I didn't even know I had.
It looks like Windows 7 64 bit is creating problems with a lot of programs. I'm just glad my main production programs all worked. My daughter's company is ordering all new PC's downgraded to Windows XP. Their main production program would NOT run with Windows 7 64 bit.
I've also noticed that even my 64 bit backup program requires my special approval everytime it runs since it alters the archive bit on every file and Windows 7 believes that is a threat to the system.
