Is type:Service Book intended to include liturgical public prayer e.g. The Liturgy of the Hours? If so, the following resources need to be moved from monograph to service book.

  • Walker, Charles. 1877. An Order for Matins and Evensong and the Celebration of the Holy Communion Commonly Called the Mass Chiefly after the First Prayer Book of King Edward the Sixth. London: Basil Montagu Pickering.
  • “Russian Day” Committee. 2010. The Orthodox Prayer Book: English. Third Edition. South Canaan, PA; Luzerne County, PA; Lackawanna County, PA: St. Tikhon’s Press; “Russian Day” Committee.
  • “Russian Day” Committee. 2010. The Orthodox Prayer Book: Slavonic. Third Edition. South Canaan, PA; Luzerne County, PA; Lackawanna County, PA: “Russian Day” Committee; St. Tikhon’s Press.
  • Wright, Ralph. 2005. Christ—Our Love for All Seasons: A Liturgy of the Hours for Everyone. New York; Mahwah, NJ: Paulist Press.

Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."
