L9 PERFORMANCE: Takes 13-15 seconds to switch to already open Program Settings tab
Every time I switch to activate my Program Settings tab, it takes 13-15 seconds.
Important info: I have hundreds if not thousands of hidden resources, which are of course listed in Program Settings. But Logos shouldn't have to go through all of those every time I re-activate the tab if nothing has happened in the intervening moments that would hide more resources.

Logs don't show a definite activation of Settings from a tab. Upload a log showing you opening Settings from the Tools menu. You can do this few times

That listbox is probably rendered without virtualisation, which is causing the performance issue. (Logs not needed.)

I have stated before that Logos is a memory hog meaning it takes memory on the pc to make logos work fast.
If you have 8 gig of ram - Logos will most likely be slow, especially if you have other programs open, i.e. a browser, etc. Every program open takes some resources to run. Ram is the area where the programs reside and do their stuff.
16 gig of ram is becoming the defacto standard now for running windows and some programs. Ram memory is not that expensive.
2nd thing is hard drive. If you are running 16 gig or more of ram then consider going to solid state drive (ssd) and you will see your system fly on hyper speed.

System resources are not the issue in my case for this particular issue. I have a beast of a machine, newly purchased this year.
I have 64 GB of RAM.
I have Logos installed on a 2 TB SSD drive.

16 GB RAM would be advisable, but my 8 GB RAM + SSD + i5 results in good performance from 2x Logos + 2x Browser instances and switching Windows User Accounts is fast.

And I remember an IBM workstation with 1 meg of ram.... with a 10 meg hdd ... and me thinking how would anyone ever use up all that machine? Show to go you what I know... lol.

Running on average 25 programs at the same time, as I frequently do. Logos is the biggest memory hog of them all, but I also usually have some very large subset of Outlook, Word, Excel, Money, PowerPoint, Photoshop, Audition, Premiere, Acrobat, Firefox, Zoom, Evernote, ACDSee, Kindle, FTP, Spotify, Family Tree Maker, Skype, TreePad, EPSON Scan, Sublime Text, Anagram Artist, Zyzzyva, ABBYY Screenshot Reader, Windows Media Player, File Explorer, DeskPins, Movie Collector, SnagIt, Camtasia, and several others running at the same time, switching back and forth between them. Not to mention all the background processes (like Dropbox, my anti-virus software, my password manager, PureText, etc.)
That and the fact that I rarely reboot my machine -- pretty much only when Windows updates and I'm forced to reboot, or if something crashes Windows, which is rare these days -- mean that having gobs of memory is really nice.
