Goodrick/Kohlenberger...what resource is this?
Larry Quinlan said:Many lexicons in Logos have a link to a GK resource (e.g. GK7731). Cursor hover identifies the GK as "Goodrick/Kohlenberger numbering system of the NIV Exhaustive Concordance."
Okay, so I can read the description as given above...but I can't find the resource on the Logos website.
Could someone please clarify what the GK resource actually is. Also, could you give a link to the page on Logos' website where it can be found?
HJ. van der Wal said:The GK numbering system was first introduced in the NIV Exhaustive Concordance (edited by Edward W. Goodrick and John R. Kohlenberger III).
It is basically a modern alternative to the Strong's numbering system. There are several resources in Logos that use the GK numbers alongside the Strong's numbers, e.g. NIDOTTE or BDB.
Larry Quinlan said:So, how can one use the GK links for something useful? As it stands right now in my library, the GK links simply open up Strong's.

How do I get my layout to remember my Cited By preferences?
Tony Walker said:I have set up the cited by tool how I like it. I thought it would remember my order. When I open various books and/or layouts it looks like it is changing to a 'default' order. Is that how it is supposed to work, or how can I make the tool always show the same list I have selected?
The configuration of the Cited By tool is saved with the layout. If you make changes, you need to make sure and update the layout.
Why can't I see the footnotes?

JT (alabama24) said:For others who may see this later, I should point out that to see the footnotes at the bottom, you need to be in "1 column" view rather than "scrolling view" (aka columns = none).
JT (alabama24) said:For clarification: There are two "views": Continuous Scroll and Paged. Columns (including "auto") relate only to paged view. You can't "scroll" when in paged view... you "turn the pages." Switch between "none" and (any of the other choices) to see the difference.
