Initial Printing implementation reaction...

Awesome! I love that it turns into a tab. I would love the ability to drag the "Print/Export" from the panel menu to a location, like you can drag most hyperlinks. Placing them side by side can be good for fine-tuning what you want to print. Of course I'm predicting it would be as I haven't had a chance to truly use it yet.

I love that you can select your range as either pages or as a topic. for instance I noticed in a dictionary you can type "Jerusalem" and it will print the whole article on Jerusalem, you can can select pages 50-60. Very nice.

I like the ease of zooming in and out with the mouse wheel and I like being able to "Print to OneNote" though I'm not sure I will use it much.

I would like to see more customization on the Page margins, especially a .25 inch all the way around margin.

Exporting of Biblical People! Maintaining Hyperlinks....I'm in Heaven!!!!

I never used printing in L3, but I could see myself using it in L4. Great Job!

EDIT: Just exported search results. I love this. You can export your search results to Word, Hyperlinks remain active, and you can trim your search results down. I can see this as especially helpful during basic searches, which can't be exported to a Passage List. Really wish we had a "Show all results" to use in combination with this feature.

Found a solution. Add the print tab to the shortcut bar. When you are ready to print drag it where you want, then from the resource you want to print from press CTRL +P

Philip, does the adding the Print tab to the shortcut bar do extra that just using CTRL-P doesn't? Does it give you a different ability? Trying to follow where you're going here...

Hitting CTRL + P without a print tab being open opens the print tab in a new, floating window (at least, that's my experience so far). By adding the print tab to the shortcut bar when I am ready to print I can drag it where I want it (usually beside what I'm trying to print). Also, If my print tab is in a floating window and I'm not sure which one, it will save me having to find it. All I have to do is drag that shortcut bar where I want it. I believe you can only have one print tab, just like you can only have 1 library tab.

I love it that you can select some text in a resource, bring up the Print/Export tab, and you can print just the selected text (or choose another option).

I would like to see the ability to select each margin size independently, though I admit it's nice being able to set all 4 at once from a list of standard margin styles. Maybe you could provide both options?

I love saving as XPS Document. I don't think I was even aware of the XPS format before, but I just learned about it. Microsoft's version of PDF. Very nice. PDF export would be nice too, though that can be accomplished through any of a number of free Print-to-PDF utilities (I can just select BullZip PDF Printer for the printer, for example).

Cool that highlighting is retained, including when you export to XPS.

Printing Search results and retaining the links when copying to clipboard or saving to RTF -- amazing!

I've found a couple of minor bugs, which I'll report separately.

I don't have a mouse wheel on my laptop, so I was hoping to be able to try out this zooming in/out feature using Ctrl-+ and Ctrl-- (which work for Biblical People/Places/Things to zoom in/out), but they don't work here. [:(] I'll have to report that as a bug or missing functionality.
