Is There a Way to Create a Checkbox in notes?

I'm starting to use Logos Notes a LOT instead of Evernote. Unfortunately, I haven't found a way to create a checkbox within the note text. Short of creating my own workflow, which I really don't want to bother with, do any of you smarter-than-me people have any suggestions or perhaps a workaround? TIA

You can insert/paste this character: ☐

It won't work like an actual checkbox where you can click it to put an X in it. But at least it looks like an empty box.

If you want a workaround to implement a functional checkbox substitute, insert [ ] and then put an X in there if you want to "check" the box.

Emoji and symbol fonts will let you insert a character that looks like a checkbox (with or without a check mark), but it won't be interactive.

Another possibility is to post a suggestion that checkboxes are added to the Notes editor at Faithlife's Feedback site.

Rosie, you have posted some of the best "tips" and "ideas" I have read on this forum over the years. I personally would never have come up with such a clever workaround.

Yep! Unicode also has checked box characters (☑ and ☒).
