Data
From the documentation:
[quote]The data is represented by the label Supernatural Being. Each Supernatural Being has a Type and further information associated with it. There are four supported Type attributes (Angel, Demon, Deity, and Other) as well as the Name attribute. The Deity and Demon types may specify an optional Location attribute.
• Angel The supernatural being is best defined as an Angel. Attributes include:
• Name The Bible Knowledgebase entity representing the angelic entity
• Demon The supernatural being is best defined as a Demon. Attributes include:
• Name The Bible Knowledgebase entity representing the demonic entity
• Location Optional, if a location is associated with a particular demon
• Deity The supernatural being is best defined as a Deity. Attributes include:
• Name The Bible Knowledgebase entity representing the deity
• Location Optional, if a location is associated with a particular deity
• Other Some supernatural entities are difficult to classify as either angels, demons, or deities. For example, the siren referenced in 4 Macc. 15:21 does not easily fit into the Angel/Demon/Deity schema.
• Name The Bible Knowledgebase entity representing the supernatural being[1]
Bible Browser
This dataset contains little information; basically, it allows one to search for supernatural beings in groups. Therefore, in the Bible Browser, I sought passages that included both a deity and a demon – something that I could not do based on Biblical entities.
We’ve looked at the pericope/verse option (1). Now let’s focus on the send to option (2).
The first option opens the Bible resource (NRSV) in a resource panel filtered by the passages selected in the Bible Browser.
The second option saves the selected texts as references in a Passage List. Unfortunately, it coverts pericope displays into verse displays. See Bible browser export to passage list respect displayed units | Faithlife Feedback
The third, and last, option send the passage list to a Search panel. This allows you to search only the passages from the Bible Browser. You can use the Bible Browser to identify the passages to study, then search all of those passages and only those passages in you further studies.
Interactive
There is no interactive for this data.
Context Menu and Information Panel
The Information Panel contains the standard information. It did not show two values as I thought it might.
Similarly, the Context Menu presents the expected results.
Search
Executing the Bible Search in the Context Menu, initiates a search with the argument {Label Supernatural Being WHERE Name ~ <Person Harmful Spirit> AND Type ~ "Demon"}.
