Moving Tabs from one side of screen to other.
I am using a 13" laptop. I have logos open with one half of the screen with two books open and the other half of the screen with one tab. I am attempting to move one of the tabs to the other side and when I click on the tab to drag it, that tab goes up along with its name goes up into the top left corner. When I release the mouse the tab goes back to where it was along with the rest of Logos.
Anyone ever had this happen? Any help would be appreciated.

I assume you have Windows? A video of this would be useful as I cannot reproduce what you describe (upload the file via the paperclip icon).

Where is the orange line indicating the presence of the moving tab when you left go? It should be beside the existing tab (either side) ... if it isn't you've not actually situated the tab on the new pane.

How do I record a video of what I am doing?

I don't do videos of what I'm doing, but do take a snapshot. There are many programs you can download and then take a screenshot and mark it up then use the "paper clip" to add it to your post. This is what most people do. You might look up "Screenshot" on the internet.

Click on the paperclip icon and locate the .mov file via the popup window. Alternatively, try an mp4 file.

This won't work, since the forum editor only accepts 5MB - you'll need to store it at a "cloud" place (dropbox or a video upload platform) and share the link. Alternatively it may be possible to convert into .mpg or such a format and thus make it smaller than 5 MB - at least I seem to remember that .mov is not a very efficient format, but I may be wrong here.

Thanks for everyone taking the time to respond. It appears that a setting that occurs when you flip the Inspiron screen over to a tablet a setting occurred that caused my problem. It works fine now.
