Factbook Disappointing for related Empires/Periods

In my reading of Carta:The Quest I came across some known and unknown Periods or Empires

  • Byzantine
  • Hellenistic
  • Seleucid   (LBD)
  • Hasmonean  (LBD)
  • Umayyad

and found once again that the LBD was the limiting factor for historical information that other Bible Dictionaries can supply.

    Interesting the selection is not covered in LBD. I'm sure they covered Sumerian, as the excited engineers calculated the exact wall-angle to support the tower to reach the gods (Akkadian had a word for that!).
