Hi, How can I create a slide (using Sermon Builder) with both a heading and sub items.

Whenever i include a heading all items are created as separate slides.

Those only way I can make a single slide is by not including a heading.

How can I get round this?

If i format a bit of text as a heading, by adjusting size, weight etc,, the presentation builder seems to ignore this.

thanks

    Hi Karl,

I tried playing around with this a bit the last few days.

The only way I find I can do this is to make a list/points slide in the Sermon Builder, export it to PowerPoint as Fully Editable, open the PPT file in PowerPoint and add the Header there. You can go ahead and make a separate Header slide in S.B. al so and just copy/paste it together with the multi-line points slide.

You "can" make a Header slide with a "single" extra line by using the "sub-header" line that you can edit in the Logos Media Tool.

I understand that you were asking how to do this in Logos but I do not believe that you can at this poing in the game.

The image below was an edited slide in P.P from 3 separate slide that I imported into P.P. from Logos. Not perfect but it will let Logos and S.B. do most of the heavy lifting.

P.S. If you do not have PowerPoint you can still export the editable file/slides as a P.P. file and edit in something else such as KeyNote (for mac) or LibreOffice Impress Presentation file (free Office clone for both Mac & Windows & Linux!).

Edit: Here is a shot os LibreOffice doing the same thing.
