Currently, the layout drop down menu seems to save every time we open anything or close anything as a choice in the layout drop down menu. This makes the layout menu something that we have hunt through to get to the layout we want.
[I] I suggest that the layout menu only keep one blank layout and only the layouts we personally name and save.
I know we can save a layout to the shortcut bar, but that's like redundancy and if some are like me that I have about 5 layouts that I use regularly...and show their name... then the shortcut bar gets full... Also, we used to call redundancy in a program... "bloating the program" because it adds extra code to do the "redundant part". More bloat = bigger program. Bigger program = slower program. But maybe things have changed?
So if the layouts drop down menu only shows the layouts we have named and saved plus a blank layout it would stop the redundancy and make the layout menu much more useful... inmo.
That's my 2 cents, which with about $2.50 will get you a cup of coffee in some placers. [:|]
