Interesting in upgrading Logos 9 features

I want to upgrade to Logos 9 and am more interesting in the features than more resources. Would it be cheaper to upgrade step by step (starter 7.54, bronze 40.16, silver 95.06) or just purchase the full feature upgrade for 112.51.  I know that this has been discussed before, but I was wondering if any definite conclusion had been reached.  Thanks.

My advice, Ronald, is to try Faithlife Connect for, at least, a few months that way you can test the 'real world' use you will get from the features.

Personally, I believe that Connect is the way to go. I know that in the long, long run it might cost more money than what one would pay to buy the same things, but the Connect way keeps you updated as you go along.

For me subscription is the best option.

Great idea.  I hadn't thought of connect.

So I signed up for the free trial, but there is very little information about Connect.  Does Logos automatically download and install the new features?  Where do I learn about the other benefits.  I'm sure I am probably missing the obvious, but according to my wife that's normal for me.  [:)]

Not trying to be negative.... but ...

Personally, I don't try to keep up with the proverbial "Joneses". I try to find a spot that suits me, does what I need and go for it.

I think that's good advice for paying to upgrade almost anything. Some things, like security, hardware, etc.  is have to cases and must be done.

Logos has a lot of features, etc. that I probably wouldn't use or at best barely use once in a while. Do I need them? Well one has to evaluate that process for themselves.

And I must say... from what I see on these forums.... money wise...  I am most likely the poorest preacher on here... so I have to keep that in mind also.

And I am finding that Logos has plenty of features and such in the lower priced packages Which, having came from WS, I will work on learning to use before I upgrade. If what I have is sufficient ...

xnman, you've clearly missed the point of features: sending money to the little town north of Seattle. Every two years, they offer you a once-every-two-years lifetime opportunity to give them money. 'Using' or 'needing' the 'old' features simply gets in the way of forumites asking for new features.

The short video at the top of this page sums it up.
