Bad text format rendering: TLV

Formatting for the Tree of Life Version is pretty bad in app.logos.com.  For some time now I have not been able to attach screen shots (anybody else having this problem with Safari 14.0.2?), so see Hebrews 3:1-6 in Safari in the web app vs the desktop app for an example.

The formatting in TLV for Hebrews 3:1-6 now looks good.  Thank you!  I still cannot post screen shots anymore, but I'm sure that's a problem I need to post in a different forum.

what format are you trying to post - there are a limited number of formats that are accepted.

Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."

On a mac the built-in screenshot capture (cmd+shift+5) saves a PNG to the desktop which can be attached using the paper clip above.

It rarely fails for me and seems to be working just now!

Thank you, MJ and Mike.  I have always used this work flow:

    1) save the screen shot, or portion thereof using the default Mac functionality to generate the png file
    2) click the paperclip icon
    3) "choose file," then
    4) navigate to and select the png

For the past few/several weeks nothing happens anymore when I click "choose file."  I'm wondering if an Apple update may have tweaked a Safari (14.0.2) setting that is preventing the standard file browsing functionality I have always had in the past?

This is odd.  I just read through 1 Peter in the TLV on the Web App and the formatting appeared fine until I got to chapter 4.  I then went back through the earlier chapters of 1 Peter and the formatting was corrupted with excess spacing, characters jammed together within single words throughout 1 Peter.  Out of curiosity, I then went back to Hebrews 3 (TLV) in the Web App.  The formatting was a mess once again, as when I originally reported the problem.  Hebrews 3 was fine last night in the Web App.  A real head-scratcher.

That is the version of Safari I posted with. I know this is very odd but have you tried restarting you Mac?

That was a good idea, Mike.  I do not restart my Mac as frequently as I should.  Unfortunately, after a fresh reboot, the "choose file" button is still doing nothing for me. All ideas welcomed!

Yeh, I know, I make it a rule to allow Apple to restart the machine every time there is an OS update  ;-)

    All ideas welcomed!

I know you described the workflow but just to double-check.

Brad, if you do run into an issue with text displaying wrong, we can look into it if you post a screenshot and the version of Mac OS & Safari you're running. Thanks!

On macOS, also am using default functionality to capture screen image, followed by using Preview => New Image. Next Adjust Image Size (5K 27" iMac has Retina display) in half and change resolution from 144 to 72. For Save, am using jpg format with lower quality that reduces image file size (quicker to upload plus quicker for others to download & view).

    Keep Smiling [:)]

Thank you Mike, yes, that's the way it always used to work for me!  Now when I click the "choose file button" it turns blue during the click, but nothing happens afterward.  It always worked fine for me in the past.

Thank you, David, unfortunately, as you'll see in this thread, attaching screen shots has somehow ceased to function in these forums on my MacBook Pro, using Safari 14.0.2. I'm running Mojave 10.14.6.  I wish I could pinpoint when the "chose file" functionality died, but it was fairly recently.

Eventually I found reports online confirming that the broken file attachment functionality is a Safari bug that is only affecting some users, not all.  I believe I've only had this Safari issue for about a month.  In the meantime, dragging and dropping (very precisely dropping on the "choose file" button) is a viable work-around.  Here is the screen shot I wanted to attach in my original post:
