TOC Bugs in Bibles
I am noticing two problems in my NASB95 Bible pertaining to the TOC window. First, at some point the mouse cursor no longer generates the resizing option when hovering over the TOC border. No matter how slow or fast the cursor is moved, the option never appears. This isn't always the case; it just begins happening at some point for unknown reasons.
Ah, well, just now I turned the TOC off and back on again, and that revived the resizing cursor, although in times past that didn't fix the problem. (Still an issue)
Another concern is that the TOC doesn't activate the cursor all the way to the left edge. I know the Bible well enough so that I don't need to see the TOC headings in order to successfully navigate. This allows me to keep the TOC minimized in terms of screen real estate. In the pic below, I know that my cursor is hovering at the spot for 2 Thes. 2, but the cursor is not activating, so I have nothing on which to click to go to that chapter. I need for the clickable space to extend all the way to the left border.
If I resize the window to the right until I see some text, eventually the cursor activates, but that diminishes the amount of space I have for my Bible text. I shouldn't have to do that.
The helpful pop-up that indicates the chapter should appear even if I hover further to the left, but if the cursor were just a pixel or two to the left, the pop-up would disappear and my mouse cursor would not be activated. This needs to change. Also, I am aware that the outline format being used affects how this works, but this window doesn't need to produce print-worthy text. The indents don't need to be as emphatic as normal. It needs to be user and click-friendly. If the cursor needs to have something to "grab onto" before it can activate, then inserting an ampersand would suffice. The main thing is that users should be able to use and activate the TOC for Bibles without having to resize the window to see indented text.

Fwiw, I may have figured out why the resize cursor wasn't working. I had an extra window (Info or something) opened, which was pinching and narrowing my Bible window, and perhaps this was impinging the cursor's ability to lock-on to the border. I will observe whether I have any further problem in this regard. The other issue I addressed concerning what's happening inside the TOC window still needs to be addressed and fixed. In my opinion, this is a clear design flaw, even if it is working as expected.
