The entry in the LTW for ἀρχή (archē) states that the word occurs 130 times in the NT whereas a search only finds 55
Is this simply a mistake in the LTW or am I not understanding it correctly?

"over 3,000" seems to be an exaggeration in "The most common Hebrew terms for authority in the OT are the verb מָלַךְ (mālak, “to rule”; e.g., Gen 36:21; Judg 9:8) and the related noun מֶלֶךְ (melek, “king”; e.g., Exod 1:8; 2 Sam 2:4). This word, occurring over 3,000 times in the OT, is the fourth-most common word in the Hebrew OT."
I can't formulate a search that will return more than 2796 results e.g. root:מֶ֫לֶךְ:1 in LHB.
