Is there a way to turn off the annoying "bling" (chimes) sound that keeps playing every time I go to a new page on Logos.com?? It's driving me nuts. Or can the developers just make it go away? Please, for the sake of my sanity?
Really? I am not doubting ... just never heard it (not a good sign).
My problem is 180 degress opposite ... delivered blank Logos pages (I think google's page buffering that Safari is using).

I seem to only hear it when I'm in the store on a page with the blue "Chat with an Agent" box is in the right-hand bottom portion of the screen. So, for example, it doesn't happen when I go to the forums but as I'm going to different product pages in the store I keep hearing it.
This one:

If you're on Windows, add the following line to file C:\Windows\system32\drivers\etc\HOSTS
127.0.0.1 developer.livehelpnow.net
That will entirely remove live help on Logos and on all other websites that use the same live help system.
Bling? Are you sure you don‘t accidentally have the Creflo Dollar version of Logos? 😉

You've made me curious as I have never heard it. Are you sure that is what is driving you nuts? or is it because you're nuts that you hear it? [;)]
Okay, I'll admit I usually have my sound turned off so all I hear is the clicking of keys. Okay, I'll admit that as described it probably is annoying.
"As soon as the coin in the coffer rings, Creflo gets more bling."
I was hearing it for the past week or two, but it seems to have stopped in the past day or so. I did nothing to change it. It was bugging me to, but I don't go to the Logos.com site often enough for it to have reached the level of annoyance where I was going to complain about it or figure out how to turn it off. It just went away by itself.

I was doing a lot of searching in the store so it was rather maddening. I just started hearing it within the past couple of days. At first, I was listening to a podcast while poking around in the store and I thought one of the podcast hosts needed to mute their phone or something. It took me a while to realize it was Logos.com. But yes today I was hearing it every time I went from page to page in the store. Again, I say, MAKE IT STOP!

Can't I just block the sound from playing? I've actually used the live chat a few times. I don't think I want to completely remove it.

I figured it out. Chrome allows you to mute individual websites. I just muted Logos.com. Hallelujah! Mental health crisis averted.
I finally heard the 'bling' on my tablet last night. Now, I feel like I'm in with the in-crowd...I know what the in-crowd knows.
It's funny, because now I'm not getting the sound anymore, I've unmuted the page and I'm not getting it anymore. Maybe some kind soul at Faithlife turned it off.
