I would like to turn-off community highlights on the Course that I have started BI205. I can't seem to find the icon to do this.
Thank you.
Hi Samuel
Does turning off the Community Tags visual filter give you what you are looking for?
Graham
Hi Graham,
For some reason, I can't see that icon. How can I turn that icon on?
Sam
Hey Graham... I see what Samuel means, because I get it as well. It's on the "left hand side" of our courses, whenever a suggested reading shows up, like below:
See? There's no way to turn that highlighting off and I also have found it rather annoying.
Anyone?
Same thing here... it's under the "suggested readings" pane on the left of our courses and doesn't have any options for turning it off. I had included a pic but the message didn't go through so I hope Graham knows what I mean, LOL!
Sorry - I was looking at the resource, not looking from within the Courses tool
Which resource are you reading where you see these tags?
I think you will need to open it outside of the Courses Tool and then you should see those dropdown menu options.

Unless my reply to Sam addresses the issue, I'm afraid I don't know!
Please try posting the picture again using the paperclip icon in the forum editor.
Yup Graham, opening the resource itself and then turning it off works. In my case, it was the "Notes and Highlights - BL291 Readings"
(Samuel, just click on the heading title next to the "Continue" button, and that should open it)
Thanks Graham!
Maybe it’s just me being an introvert, but it seems like this sort of thing should be turned off by default
I would vote for that....

Thank you all. I am all set. Thanks for the help.
