Daly readings default to "Today" won't save.
Hello. Thank you for having me. Basic Logos user here.
I have certain daily readings saved in my layout. However they always seems to start on a certain date, rather than "Today" when I launch Logos. I have chosen "Today", this then changes to todays specific date. So when I save the layout, it's saved for that date rather than "Today".
I'm sure there's a solution. Just seems silly to have to click through to todays date, each day.
Any thoughts????

Welcome [:D]
Suggest opening Quick Start Layout => Devotional (click Layout icon on left side of main window followed by clicking Devotional)
Customize Devotional layout as desired, followed by Replacing Devotional Quick Start Layout with current layout: Click Layouts icon, Right Click Devotional followed clicking "Replace with current layout" (causes Custom tp appear next to Devotional)
Opening Quick Start Layout for Devotional includes automatic navigation to Today.

That is normal as current settings are saved in a layout.
I suggest you use the Dashboard on the Home page, where you will probably find a card for a Daily Devotional. To include others, click the + menu at top right, click Daily Devotional and choose the ones you want to Add. When you click the card, the devotional will open to Today in your layout - so the resource doesn't have to be a permanent part of your layout.

You are correct in that it does work from the dashboard as that's how I've had it setup. But I would rather have it in a layout. I would have figured that would be a pretty simple thing to do. Why even have devotions/dailies addable to a layout if you have to change the date every time? Still seems there is a setting/step I'm missing.
In the end, not a huge deal. I'll just switch between Dashboard and Layout.
Thank you for your help.

If you open your layout and the Table of Contents of your devotional is already open (or you click to open it), at the top of the ToC you should see "Today's Reading" or "Today" or something of that sort. Clicking on that will bring you to today's reading.
