NOTE SHARING

I know note sharing has been around a long time but it still seems (at least on my desktop) so slow (sometimes timing out) and unintuitive. I really want to be able to have a collaborative effort with a colleague on a specific note in Logos but can't seem to have much success (it really is painstaking). What have been your experiences? Anyone with great success?
