Title says it all - does Jacob Neusner Jewish Studies Bundle ever go on sale? It looks really good but is way too expensive for me...
I had some of it in my collection and my rep waved a no-can-refuse deal in front of me if I remember correctly. I know there are sales, but I think some publishers also have given FL a little flexibility. Remember two things also, dynamic pricing is your friend because some stuff in that bundle are stuff you might really want and use anyway. And if that then makes a much more attractive price, you can make it more manageable on a payment plan. I've eaten a lot of ramen noodles in my life to pay for things when I was poorer. But you still need to eat.

I know that the Pope Emeritus, Benedict XVI, quoted Jacob Neusner in his book, Jesus of Nazareth (so Neusner must be a pretty important figure). Considering this bundle, what are your pros for getting this? (Do make a sales pitch... [;)] )
I've had this on my wish list for quite a while, never seen it cheaper. It's worth it to me, but perhaps not everyone.
