I've noticed that there's no "suggested bid" on this one as there has been for others. Is that an oversight or just an abandoned practice of something that didn't work anyways?

Well considering the Logos user base is heavy on the preacher side, it could be detrimental to suggest a bid amount.Preachers will always bid lower than they think it is worth, forever looking for that bargain.
Knowing this, Logos could suggest an artificially high bid to compensate.
Then the rest of us see that high amount and shy away from bidding.When you look at the progress bar it tells you something of the projected production costs.

Guilty as charged, though I did consider the number of pages in this one and bid a bit higher because I can see it's a large collection.

We actually stopped including a suggested bid a while ago. We thought it was sufficient to give you the range, and then let the community decide. Typically our suggested bid would just be the middle of the range, but history shows that it always goes much lower than that.
