Chinese input on logos 9 Apple MacBook Pro M1

There seems to an intermittent issue that the Chinese characters input does not show only the Chinese characters but also the English characters that are used to produce the Chinese characters. Has anyone has the same issue?

Hi Alvin, perhaps it's got something to do with the Chinese keyboard you're using. I use google pinyin and it works alright for me, just like how I would normally type Chinese in any other place.
