Is there any way to include graphs in the documents? I have tried for half a day, and can't seem to do it. In my studies, I have many graphs that I had included in my notes in Wordsearch.
Thanks
Danny
Hi Danny
Is there any way to include graphs in the documents?
Which sort of documents are you referring to? And would images work or are you looking for dynamically linked graphs?
Logos 8 provided the ability to add images to Sermon Documents and Logos 9 introduced the ability to add images to Notes.
Do either of these give you what you are looking for?

Hi Danny,
In my studies, I have many graphs that I had included in my notes
The Notes tool supports graphics quite easily - since Logos version 9. If you still are on Logos 8: the introductory phase (with some rebates!) of Logos 9 runs out end of the month, it is expected that very soon after a free engine or L9 Basic will be available.
If you are L9 already, just come back if you need more guidance to place graphics into notes.
I have been using Wordsearch and am waiting to see how my Bible notes are going to be handle, before I invest anymore. So I am using Logos 8. I also mean to say not only graphs but also charts.

I totally understand that.
So I am using Logos 8
We expect the release of a free version of Logos 9 "in the spring" - with some anticipation (unconfirmed) that this will happen in February. It could be good to install that when available to check out the capability of adding images to Notes
I also mean to say not only graphs but also charts.
The available functionality is to include images, so if you could convert your charts or graphs to images you can include them. There has also been request for tables but this is not currently available.
In the example below, I've saved a chart from a resource and then inserted it into a note - there is no direct "insert image into note" feature so the step of saving the image and then inserting it is required

Actually the Chinese and the German UI versions of L9 Basic are already available for free as of today (see e.g. here https://faithlife.com/posts/3099204 ) and installing one of those should bring the functionality of images in notes also to Logos when used in the English UI.

but copy / paste works in the current stable version of L9 (it does the upload to the Logos cloud in the back) for pictures from Logos as well as from anywhere else.
Tell me something. What is the difference in downloading Logos 9 when available, or downloading Logos 9 starter? Is it just the books that are given with the download of the starter? I am not a preacher, just one that loves to study the Bible. I have added many notes over the pass few years, and when Word Search came along, it allow me to add them notes to the Scriptures.

It is about books (resources) and features.
The free version for Logos 8 is Logos 8 Basic - https://www.logos.com/product/168880/logos-8-basic - which contains, for example, two Bibles (the LEB and KJV).
Logos 9 Starter, by comparison, includes 9 Bibles.
We don't know what will be provided in the free version of Logos 9 but I would expect to see something similar.
Does this answer your question?
Fascinating - thanks for sharing that
Very true - I either had forgotten that or didn't know in the first place!
Appreciated.
