Using Apple Pencil in Preaching Mode on Ipad Pro

With Logos 9, I've recently switched from preaching from Good Reader to the Logos Preaching Mode. So far I've really liked it, however, I've run into a snag. I used my Apple Pencil to circle, highlight and star my sermons in Good Reader. But I can't seem to get the Apple Pencil to draw in the Logos App on my Ipad Pro. Does anyone know how to do this or is it not an option? Thanks.

Apple Pencil support in the iPad app is very limited - effectively it can be used to type (as per https://community.logos.com/forums/p/188853/1119716.aspx#1119716) or does the same as we can do with our fingers.

For sermons, specifically, there is no edit capability in the mobile apps so we can't change them at all there - that needs to be done on the desktop or in the webapp
