Hi
I noticed there a bug in the Logos Atlas Distance Measuring Function and shared it with Logos technical support and they confirmed it is a known bug that is being worked on.
This article and video explains how to measure distance in the Atlas with "Ctrl + LeftClick & Drag" with a mouse. It's a wonderful and powerful tool to see how far people had to travel and walk! I love it!
- To measure distance, press and hold Cmd (Mac) or Ctrl (Windows), click your starting location, and drag the mouse. A circle will appear over the map with a label displaying the radius of the circle.
It looks like this:

This functionality works in both Logos Atlas and Logos Bibilical Places Maps. Google Maps online has a similar function with a right click anywhere.
However there is a bug and a workaround I use for the bug, until the bug is fixed.
The bug happens when you switch to a new map within Logos Atlas. At that point the distance measuring tool stops working.
My best workaround I've found for this is to go ahead and switch to a new map within Atlas when you need to. But then "right click" on the "tab of the map you like", and select Duplicate, as in, duplicate the tab to another tab.
Then the distance measuring functions works again as described in the new tab!
This bug does not happen when in Logos Biblical Places Maps; its only a bug in Logos Atlas.
And this distance measuring function is not designed to work on non-Logos Atlases, like the ESV Atlas, Zondervan Atlas, etc.
Hope this helps anyone else looking for a temporary workaround while this bug is being worked on.
